Sportsbook API or iFrame?
Compare sportsbook API and iFrame delivery models, including launch speed, UX control, wallet integration, callbacks, maintenance and operational responsibility.
iFrame model
An iFrame can reduce frontend integration effort and accelerate launch because the sportsbook provider owns more of the delivered interface. The trade-off is typically less control over the user experience and tighter dependency on the embedded product.
API model
API integration can provide greater product and UX control but requires substantially more engineering, testing and long-term maintenance. The operator may need to own event presentation, betslip behavior, localization and more of the failure-handling surface.
Shared concerns
Both models still need clear authentication, session mapping, wallet behavior, transaction callbacks, settlement rules, responsible gaming controls, logging and provider health monitoring.
Decision framework
Choose based on desired launch speed, frontend control, engineering capacity, provider contract, jurisdictional requirements and how deeply sportsbook needs to share the rest of the operator experience.
Build it. Launch it. Operate it. Protect it. Grow it.
