Game aggregation or direct integrations?
Understand the operational trade-offs between a centralized game aggregation layer and maintaining many direct provider integrations.
Direct integration
A direct provider integration can give an operator a close relationship with one supplier, but repeating wallet contracts, callbacks, catalogs, credentials, monitoring and reporting across many providers increases integration and operational overhead.
Aggregation
An aggregation layer aims to normalize those differences. The operator works with a centralized catalog and integration contract while provider-specific adapters handle upstream differences. The value is not only the number of games; it is the reduction in repeated technical work.
Resilience
When equivalent content can be sourced through more than one technically compatible route, source priority and fallback policies can become an operational resilience tool. These rules need clear health data and auditability.
Questions to ask
Ask how catalogs are synchronized, how disabled providers are handled, how games are mapped, how launch failures are diagnosed, whether sources can be prioritized, and how commercial usage is reported.
Build it. Launch it. Operate it. Protect it. Grow it.
